FC Barcelona's Anthem - El Cant del Barša.

This is what you hear at the games before and after games at the Camp Nou and on this site too.

It was commissioned in 1974 to celebrate the clubs 75th anniversary. The words were written by Jaume Picas and Josep Maria EspinÓs and the music was composed by Manuel Valls Gorina.

The hymn was given its official debut on November 27 1974 at the Camp Nou before a game between FC Barcelona and East Germany. A 3,500 strong choir was conducted by Oriol Martorell. On November 28 1998, during the club's Centenary, it was performed by Spanish singer-songwriter Joan Manuel Serrat at the end of a festival at the Camp Nou.

Tot el camp!
╔s un clam!
Som la gent blaugrana
Tant se val d'on venim
Si del sud o del nord
ara estem d'acord, estem d'acord
una bandera ens agermana
Blaugrana al vent,
un crit valent
Tenim un nom, el sap tothom
Barša, Barša, Barša

Jugadors
Seguidors
Tots units fem forša
sˇn molts anys plens d'afanys
sˇn molts gols que hem cridat
i s'ha demostrat, s'ha demostrat
que mai ning˙ no ens podrÓ toršar
Blaugrana al vent, un crit valent,
Tenim un nom, el sap tothom
Barša, Barša, BAAAARăA!!!!!

Unofficial English translation

A clamor rises
from the pitch
We’re the blue and claret people
Makes no difference where we hail from
Whether it’s from the south or the north
Now we all agree
we all agree,
One flag unites us in brotherhood
Blue and claret flowing in the wind
One valiant cry
We’ve got a name
that everyone knows:
Barša! Barša! Baaarša!

Players,
Supporters
United we are strong
So much glory through the years
Oh, the many goals we’ve cheered
And it has been proven, it has been proven
That no one can break us
Blue and claret flowing in the wind,
One valiant cry
We’ve got a name
that everyone knows:
Barša! Barša! Baaarša
